- NCC is a highly reputed body which is also the second line of defence. Young students can JOIN NCC if they want to make it their career option, NCC cadets are directly associated with the Ministry of Defense.
- Indian Air Force, Navy, Army, BSF and CRPF have a special quota for NCC cadets.
- NCC cadets also get a preference over other in Indian Police Forces.
- There are several central and state Government organisations who give special preference to NCC cadets.
- Other than just military training the cadets also learn several other valuable lessons such as selflessness, honesty, discipline, hard work and ways to build confidence and gain leadership qualities.
- Since NCC camps are held all over India, hence students get an opportunity of visit new places.
- A total of 32 seats are set aside for cadets having NCC certificate. CDS for NCC cadets are eligible for SSC without even qualifying for the written test. All they have to do is to clear the SSB interview.

- एनसीसी प्रमाणपत्र रखने वाले कैडेटों के लिए कुल 32 सीटें अलग रखी जाती हैं। एनसीसी कैडेटों के लिये CDS लिखित परीक्षा के लिए अर्हता प्राप्त किए बिना भी SSC के लिए पात्र हैं। उन्हें बस इतना करना है कि SSB इंटरव्यू क्लियर करना है।
